How PulsePanda handles your data
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the controls available to teams using PulsePanda.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information needed to provide PulsePanda, operate customer workspaces, and improve the product.
- Account data: name, email address, workspace details, authentication identifiers, and billing-related metadata.
- Product usage data: pages viewed, events created, feature usage, device and browser metadata, approximate location, and diagnostics.
- Cookies and similar technologies: identifiers, local storage, and comparable technologies used to keep sessions active, remember preferences, measure site performance, and understand how the website and product are used.
- Customer content: session recordings, feedback submissions, forms, ballots, event definitions, and related configuration created by customers.
- Support communications: messages, attachments, and details shared when contacting us.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to deliver the service, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, process payments, provide support, and improve PulsePanda.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product performance and usage trends.
3. Customer Data and End Users
PulsePanda customers decide what websites, applications, and events they instrument. Customers are responsible for giving their end users appropriate notice and obtaining any consent required by applicable law.
Customers should avoid sending sensitive personal information to PulsePanda unless their plan and configuration explicitly support that use case.
4. Customer Authority and Consent
If a customer sends us information about its end users, employees, contractors, clients, or other third parties, the customer represents that it has the authority, notices, permissions, and consents needed to share that information with PulsePanda and to allow us to process it as described in this policy and our agreements.
Some information is required to provide the service, such as account identifiers, workspace configuration, and product telemetry. If required information is not provided, some features may not work or we may be unable to provide the requested service.
5. Sensitive Information
PulsePanda is not designed to collect sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, financial account credentials, payment card numbers, health information, biometric data, precise geolocation, race or ethnicity, religious beliefs, political opinions, or information about children. Customers should not send this information to PulsePanda unless we have expressly agreed in writing and the customer has configured the product and obtained consent as required by law.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the website and dashboard, authenticate users, remember settings, prevent abuse, analyze traffic, and improve PulsePanda. You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies, but some parts of the service may not function correctly without them.
7. Sharing and Subprocessors
We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to comply with law, protect rights and security.
Service providers may process data for hosting, analytics, authentication, payments, email delivery, logging, and customer support.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Customers may delete workspace data through available product controls or by contacting us.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, and least-privilege operational practices. No system is perfectly secure, so customers should configure PulsePanda carefully and limit what they send to the service.
10. Data Incidents
If we become aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate and take appropriate steps to contain, remediate, and notify affected customers or users when required by applicable law or contractual obligations.
11. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal information. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.
Where we process information based on consent, you may withdraw that consent where applicable. Withdrawal may limit or prevent access to parts of the service. We may retain information when required for legal, security, accounting, dispute-resolution, or legitimate business purposes.
12. Children
PulsePanda is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
13. Third-Party Links
Our website, dashboard, emails, or support materials may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this policy. We recommend reviewing those policies before sharing information with third parties.
14. International Transfers
PulsePanda may process information in countries other than where it was collected. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the product, website, or another appropriate channel.
16. Contact and Privacy Requests
Questions, privacy requests, complaints, or concerns about this policy or our handling of personal information can be sent to support@pulsepanda.dev.
We will review and respond to valid requests within the time required by applicable law.
