Redesigns based on opinion
Use click and scroll patterns to see which parts of the page users actually notice or ignore.
Website heatmap tool
See what users click, where they scroll, and which page sections get attention. Then open the related recordings, funnels, and feedback to decide what to change.
Problems it solves
Use click and scroll patterns to see which parts of the page users actually notice or ignore.
Open the sessions behind a heatmap pattern before treating it as a design success or failure.
Pair heatmaps with funnel steps to understand whether users see, trust, and act on the next step.
Reading a heatmap
A heatmap drawn from forty sessions is a picture of forty people, not of your users. Below a few hundred sessions on a page, what looks like a hotspot is usually just a handful of visitors who happened to behave alike.
New and returning visitors use the same page differently, and mobile and desktop barely resemble each other. A single combined map averages those groups into a pattern that describes none of them.
A section nobody clicks might be badly placed, badly worded, or simply not clickable in a way people recognise. The map tells you where to look; the recordings behind it tell you which of those it is.
Workflow
Collect click, scroll, and engagement heatmaps for key marketing and product pages.
Compare behavior by source, device, page, funnel step, and user state.
Watch sessions behind important patterns and turn the finding into a product hypothesis.
What you get
| Click maps | See which controls, sections, and dead areas attract interaction. |
|---|---|
| Scroll maps | Understand how far users reach and where key content disappears. |
| Replay validation | Use recordings and feedback to avoid over-reading a heatmap screenshot. |
FAQ
A website heatmap tool visualizes aggregate user behavior such as clicks, scroll depth, and engagement so teams can improve page layout and conversion paths.
Heatmaps show patterns while session replay explains the individual journeys behind those patterns, which helps prevent incorrect design conclusions.
Yes. PulsePanda connects heatmaps with funnels, recordings, feedback, and web analytics so teams can prioritize high-impact page changes.
